Dealt is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your photos never leave your device. We don't collect your name, email, or contact info.
Photos: Dealt requests access to your photo library to display random memories. Photos are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with anyone. All photo processing happens entirely on your device. We do not store, copy, or backup your photos.
Local Storage: Dealt stores only the IDs of selected daily photos on your device (not the photos themselves). This cache resets daily.
Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to understand basic app usage (how often the app is opened, general device type). This data is not linked to your name, email, or photos, and is used only to improve the app.
Crash Reports: We use Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and improve reliability. Crash reports include device and app information. We don't intentionally include photo data in crash reports.
Remote Config: We use Firebase Remote Config to update in-app text. No photos are sent.
Dealt does not require user accounts. No login, no registration, no password, no email. This means there is no account to hack and no personal data to breach.
